About me

I am Uday Bhayani currently living in Gandhinagar, Gujarat and basically from Mekhatimbi Village of Upleta Taluka in Rajkot District, Gujarat State. I am currently working as Class – 1 Officer in Finance Department of Government of Gujarat. I had completed my primary schooling from Government run Taluka Primary School and secondary schooling from Ratansi Kheraj Bhayani High School in my village only. I had done my higher secondary education from Raliyatben Devsibhai Govani Higher Secondary School, Supedi. I shifted to Vallabh Vidyanagar for my graduation in commerce stream from Bhikhabhai Jivabhai Vanijya Mahavidyalaya – BJVM. I have also done Master of Commerce (External) from Sardar Patel University.

On completion of graduation, I joined Shree Sadguru Industries, Sukhpur – Junagadh which is peanut factory. After short span of 7 months, I joined banking sector through one associate company of HDFC Bank Ltd at Veraval (Somnath). I had joined as an Executive in UTI Bank, Vallabh Vidyanagar (Currently Axis Bank) after serving almost two years in HDFC Bank. While I was in HDFC Bank, I get through Accounts Officer Exam of Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) and cleared interview during UTI Bank tenure. Finally, joined Government of Gujarat as an Accounts Officer, Class – II in the year 2007 and working as an Accounts Officer, Class – I since 2014.

Fortunately, I had been assigned important portfolios by each of my employers which imparted me exposure to various key functions in each profile. I was enriched with basic and through knowledge of various Banking Operations, Management of NRI Portfolio etc. in my banking career. While in public services, I gained knowledge of overall project management of e-Governance Project, in depth knowledge of State Finance which includes Budget Management, Grant Management, Receipt and Expenditure Management etc. In nut shell, I have proficiency over various Banking Operations, Government Accounting System and State Fiscal Management.

Currently, I am looking after centralized accounting of State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) receipts of GoG.
